Sensing a Trend

39% of the people whose blogs I follow attended Comic-con this last weekend. Strange coincidence or Irrelevant tidbit of useless information? You decide.

Ginger

Has anyone ever noticed how much Conan O'Brien looks like Red Skelton? I mean seriously.

Come What May

As excited about the Angels & Demons movie as I was before, I am even more excited to hear that Ewan McGregor will play portraying the Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca. I think this is a perfect fit for the role.

Horribly Wonderful! XD

I. Freaking. Love. Dr. Horrible.

Watch. And be enlightened.

You know I almost missed seeing this musical wonderment.

I first heard about it a few weeks ago on the news page for
Ctrl+Alt+Del, and I guess I didn't fully understand what it was, so I ignored it. A little while later, I saw it mentioned on Wil Wheaton's blog , and yet still I didn't feel compelled enough to look into it. That probably would have been the end of it if I hadn't happened to be looking through Meg Cabot's blog on Saturday night and even she was talking Dr. Horrible.

So basically, one of my favourite Webcomic Artists/Writers, a totally awesome and nerdy ex-Star Trek: TNG Actor, and one of the best Chick-Lit authors I have ever read were all excited about Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. I had to see what all the fuss was about.

O.M.F.G.

It's a Musical.

About Super-Villains.

Starring Neil Patrick Harris.

And Nathan
Fillion.

Created by
Joss Whedon, one of the writers from Runaways.

I don't know if such a great combination has ever before come to life. I love it.

I just wish there was more. I want to see more of Dr. Horrible with his new coat. Also I can't stop listening the songs.

Purchases and Upgrades

So today I ordered a Wacom 9x12 Graphics Tablet, and I'm pretty stoked about it. I have wanted one for a while, and I'll be able use it for school in the fall.

I also pre-ordered
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer, which is set to come out next month.

I updated my my computer's Firefox from 2.0 to 3.0 today and I also added this add-on called PicLens. It's pretty awesome for viewing pictures and videos on the Internet, but works with a few websites like MySpace, YouTube, Flickr, etc. I wish it worked with everything, though. It's really cool.

Also, tonight's new episode of Flipping Out was crazy with drama.

People who are more awesome than me

Wil Wheaton updates his blog way more than I do. I should really get on that.
